You know.. this picture actually never was intended to have Krystal in here at all. I was making this as a picture of the Terai Yuki 2 model dressed up as Zatanna from the DC universe (Justice League, and all that), and wanted to have a rabbit poking out of the hat. It wasn't until near the end that I realized I did not have a 3d model of a rabbit, and couldn't find any freebies for one. After doing a li'l hunt on Renderosity, I found a prop for bunny ears, and figured I'd have to do a makeshift bunny.
Krystal became the unwilling bunny, wearing her DX shirt and all ("... and if you're not down with that, we've got TWO words for ya!"). Had to actually scale her down to 25% of her normal size to get that looking properly. Funny thing is, if there's one thing I really like the appearance of in the picture, it's the cummerbund. I stripped the old texture off, but kept the bump and specular maps, and just changed the diffuse color. I had no idea that the material would actually look so real. It's got a nice silk-like shine to it.
Okay, I've written enough.. I seem to write a lot of my technical thoughts on the pictures and how they were made. I wonder if anyone reads 'em. o.o

I think you have a great pic here. the only technical error I really see is TY's hair poking through her top near the neck. I have similar issues in my renders as well I know how much of a bitch that can be to fix. I am still learning. Like how this came out. Serendipity on the cumberbund is great.
Yeah, I tried to fix the hair with some postwork in Photoshop, but it looked like crap.. so I just kinda left it as-is, and hoped that not many people would see it. You're the first to point it out, so I think I'm doing alright...
I always enjoy reading the nuts and bolts of how a picture was made. I wish more good artists (like yourself) would spend the time and energy to do so. It helps someone like me, who is untrained, to pick up a few new tricks here and there and (hopefully) improves the general quality of what's out there.
For the most part, it's just me rambling on about the picture...
Heck, I'm not very trained, myself. I mean, I went to college for Graphic Design, but I still haven't found a job that relates to my studies. Orlando is kinda painful like that.
